Adobe for Home Access

Adobe provides employees with a license to allow them to use Adobe CC at home to allow them to use the product as they would on campus.

Students in select courses also get Adobe for the 2021FA semester

Below are the steps access Adobe Creative Cloud through Howard Community College.

Adobe for Home Access Process

  1. Go to Adobe.com and select Sign In in the upper right corner of the page. 
  2. Enter in your email address as the username, you don't need to enter your password at this page
    1. If it asks for Adobe ID or Enterprise ID, click on Enterprise ID to use your HCC credentials to login.
      If it doesn't ask it will send you to ADFS
  3. Sign in with your Howard Community College Credentials (Ex: jdoe1234)
  4. Once you login it will let you know that you've joined or will send you to the landing page for Adobe.com. Click Launch Adobe.com or Open Creative cloud depending on which option you are shown.
     
  5. This should open https://creativecloud.adobe.com/cc/ . If it doesn't open, click the link we have to the left
  6. In the middle of the screen click the "Creative Cloud" button
    Then click the download button
  7. It will download Creative CLoud



  8. Open the Creative CLoud Set-Up.exe to begin the install
    It may ask you to sign in, click Continue


  9. While it's installing it may also ask you questions, you don't need to answer these.
    There may also be a Windows popup for Yes or No to allow it to run as administrator. Select Yes
  10. Once it is done installing the Creative Cloud application will launch
  11. Sign in with your HCC Email address again

    1. If it asks for Adobe ID or Enterprise ID, click on Enterprise ID to use your HCC credentials to login
  12. It will ask you to sign in with your Howard Community College credentials (Ex:  jdoe1234)
  13. Select the "Apps" tab in the top left
  14. Scroll down to the program you want to install in the middle and click the "Install" button next to it
  15. It will begin downloading the program and installing it
  16. Once it is installed you will have the program in your start menu ready to run
    It will also show up in the Adobe Creative Cloud app in an "Installed" section
     
  17. If you need to install additional software in the future on the same computer you can launch the Adobe Creative Cloud app and install the software desired.
