Using your hotspot

Powering on and basic usage

  1. Press and hold the power button on the front of the hotspot for 3 seconds or until a welcome screen lights up

    1. If it doesn't power on it may need to be charged.

  2. It will boot up to a screen like the below, it should show a 4G at the top after about 10-20 seconds

  3. Push the MENU button on the top of the device, this will cycle through the screen options

  4. Push the MENU button  on top until you see the below 2.4 Ghz WIFI Info option on the screen

  5. Push the Power button on the front of the device

  6. This screen will show the Wireless network name you can connect your laptop to in the top
    The password is in the bottom (Partially covered by orange in the below picture)

  7. Once your laptop connects to the hotspot, press the MENU button on top several times until it shows the below "Back home" option

     

  8. Press the power button again and it will go back to the status display

  9. Use your hotspot

    1. The first time you use the hotspot, it may load a webpage that will ask you to wait while it activates after you click Continue


      If this occurs just wait a minute or two and then continue browsing the internet. It will show a screen like the above with "MB used" when it is activated.

  10. When you are done using the hotspot, please power it off and charge it.
    To power it off, hold the power button the front down for several seconds until it shows the below screen then let go of the power button

  11. You can charge it using the built in charging cable and the plug at the bottom of the device

  12. When it starts charging it will show a display like below.
    The display will turn off after about a minute, but the device is still charging.
