  • 3 prong cord that can be detached for storage
• Latitude 3410

Overview of use

1. Attached the power brick to power, the green LED on the brick will light up (it is not very bright)
   
2. Lift the lid on the laptop and press the power button in the top right
   The laptop may also automatically turn on when plugged in
   
3. The laptop will automatically sign in similar to the on campus classrooms.
   
4. It will have Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access on the desktop as well as links to Canvas and the Library
   
   
5. If you need to use Respondus Lockdown Browser you can install it following the steps at Respondus LockDown Browser Windows Install Guide - Technology Service Center - Information Technology KB (howardcc.edu)
6. If there is any additional software needed on the laptop for classes you'll be able to install it
7. To power off the laptop, just press the power button
