Classroom Technology

Instructor Computer

To log in to the instructor station, you can use the default account by hitting enter on the keyboard. You can log in using your HCC Login credentials by selecting "Other User," located in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen. Please restart the computer if the default account is not shown on the screen. 

Please do not save files on the instructor station. User profiles are regularly wiped from the computer, and any saved information will be lost. 

USB ports are located on the front of the instructor's computer and the left side of the instructor station monitors. 

Classroom

This classroom has a ceiling projector, an instructor computer with an audio interface, and 16 student computers. This lab is managed by Patrick Pagano (PPagano@howardcc.edu). 

AV Control System 

If you are experiencing issues with the audio, projection, or control panel, please get in touch with the Technology Service Center by calling (443) 518-4444 ext. three or using this link to create a service request. Please indicate if you would like immediate assistance, and a technician will respond to the classroom to assist you. 

The wall panels behind the instructor's desk control the ceiling projector and projector screen.

Webcam

There is a webcam installed on the instructor station. It can be used with video conferencing software like Microsoft Teams or Zoom. If you have any issues with the webcam, please get in touch with the Technology Service Center by calling (443) 518-4444 ext. three or using this link to create a service request. 

MIDI Input and Software

This classroom has a 25-key mini keyboard installed with programs like Ableton Live. The keyboard is an Akai LPK25 MK2 Performance Keyboard.

The software in this classroom is managed by Patrick Pagano (ppagano@howardcc.edu). Below is a list of software that is available in this lab.
