Installing VMware Workstation

  1. Open Kivuto at https://phpmysql.howardcc.edu/Kivuto
    1. Click the "Open Store" button under VMware
    2. Sign in with your Howard Community College username and password

    3. On the software list select "VMware Workstation 14" (If you are on OSX select VMware Fusion 10 instead)

    4. Click "Add to Cart"

    5. Click "Check out"

    6. If its the first time you have used Kivuto you will need to enter in some information and click "Proceed with order"

    7. Record the serial number provided, then click "Download"

    8. Click "Download" and it will begin downloading the installer
  2. Open the installer when it has finished downloading

    1. Click "Next"

    2. Read the EULA, and click the "I accept" checkbox if you agree with the terms
    3. Click Next

      If you are using an international keyboard, you may want to install the "Enhanced Keyboard Driver"
    4. Click Next
      You and uncheck  both of these boxes if you would like

    5. Click Next

    6. Begin the install

    7. Click the "License" button to enter in your license key from above

    8. Enter in the license key you got from the Kivuto webpage, click "Enter"
    9. Click "Finish"
  3. You will now be able to launch VMware Workstation Pro from the start menu

    1. Note : The keys Kivuto provides are 13 month evaluation keys, you will see this warning at the top even though the product is licensed.
