Classroom Technology

Instructor Computer

To login to the instructor station you can use the default account by hitting enter on the keyboard, or you can log in using your HCC Login credentials by selecting "Other User" located in the bottom left hand corner of the screen. If the default account is not shown on the screen, please restart the computer. 

USB ports are located on the front of the instructor comptuer. 

The instructor station and all student stations have Wacom tablets installed for use with Adobe applications. 

Please do not save files on the instructor station. User profiles are regularly wiped from the computer and any saved information will be lost. 


AV Control Systems

The ceiling projector is controlled by with the white remote found on the instructor desk. To power on the projector, use the power button on the upper left corner of the remote. 

The projector screen can be raised or lowered using the wall mounted controls located by the instructor station. 

Document Camera

The document camera can be used to display documents on the classroom projector. 

  • Power on the document camera is on using the power button on the device (Pictured below). 

                

  • Power on the projector using the remote on the instructor desk.

Presentation Remote

This classroom has a presentation remote installed for use with the instructor comptuer. The remote can be used with PowerPoint and other presentation software to advance presentation slides.
