PGCC Canvas Sign In - Deprecated 05/22/23

*Trust relationship with PGCC implemented on 05/22/23. 

PGCC students no longer use .PGCC accounts to access HCC courses on our instance.  They use their native PGCC account to logon to the PGCC instance and their HCC courses will show up on their dashboard once the course is published and the class has started.

PGCC COURSE INSTRUCTIONS

You have enrolled in a course held at the Laurel College Center this semester. Your instructor will be coming from Prince George’s Community College and uses Canvas Links to an external site.to communicate and give assignments for this class. Your grades throughout the course will be posted in the PGCC Blackboard site.  Your final grade will be posted in MyHCC.  Below are the instructions to login to Canvas and access your course.

LOGIN TO THE PGCC CANVAS SITE

STEP 1:

Go to https://pgcconline.instructure.com/login/canvas

STEP 2:

Login with the following criteria:

Username: Your HCC Express username + .hcc

(Example: If your HCC Express username is jdoe1234, your PGCC Canvas username would be jdoe1234.hcc)

Password: Add a 0 to the front of your 7 digit HCC student id number to be make it 8 digits
                  A student ID of 0123456 would have a password of 00123456

STEP 3:

You should see your course on the dashboard or under the Courses item on the left then under "All Courses", click on the name of the course. The instructor may not publish the course until a few days before the course start date.
