Connecting an iPad (or iOS device) to AirMedia
*Before connecting you will need to download the AirMedia App from the Apple App Store. The app should be version 2.2.34 or newer.
Select AirMedia from the Crestron touch panel on the desk.
Select the projectors you would like to output to and touch ‘Go’.
On the projector screen you should see the AirMedia default page. Take note of the address and code in the lower left section of the display.
On your iPad, open the AirMedia app. On the main page there is a section to enter the receiver’s address, enter the address displayed on the AirMedia page that is being projected.
You will then see an instructions page for completing the connection.
To access the screen mirroring options, swipe down from the upper right corner of right corner of your iPad screen. You should see several options listed, you will want to click on the Screen Mirroring option.
Select the available Screen Mirroring option.
Enter the four digit passcode that can be found on the projected AirMedia page.
To stop displaying the iPad on the projector, access the screen mirroring option by swiping down from the top right of your iPad screen. In screen mirroring, select ‘Stop Mirroring’.
Once you have connected to AirMedia in a classroom that connection will show up in the AirMedia app under recent connections. If this is a room that you will be connecting in regularly you can touch the little star next to the recent connection to add it to your Favorites. This will remember the settings if you connect in the furture. The passcode to connect will change for each connection made. You will need to enter the passcode each time you connect.
