Laptop Cart and Cherwell Procedures
Notification of Request more than 24 hours ahead of time:
- Laptop cart reservations must be entered into Cherwell 24 business hours (Monday-Friday) ahead of the delivery time.
- When entering a laptop cart reservation in Cherwell, please verify in HCC Adstra that the reservation is in the correct room and time, if not, please contact the requester to correct the issue(s).
- Make the reservation for the entire class period.
- Please schedule reservations 10 minutes apart to allow for delivery of the cart.
- If there is a reservation cancellation the day of a delivery please contact Student Computer Support.
- Do not book the laptop cart more than 4 hours back to back for battery life purposes.Â
- If the request has multiple days/times, please make a new ticket for each reservation.
Notification of Request less than 24 hours ahead of time:
- Call the SCS ER line where the delivery is requested.
- When you speak to the SCS tech, ask if it's possible to make the delivery.
- If YES, create the Cherwell ticket for the delivery and assign it to SCS Desktop. Make sure you write the name of the tech that you spoke to in the ticket.
- If NO, email the requester that "insert verbage here"
