Instructor Computer
To log in to the instructor station, you can use the default account by hitting enter on the keyboard. You can log in using your HCC Login credentials by selecting "Other User," located in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen. Please restart the computer if the default account is not shown on the screen.Â
Please do not save files on the instructor station. User profiles are regularly wiped from the computer, and any saved information will be lost.Â
USB ports are located on the front of the instructor's computer and the left side of the instructor station monitors.Â

This is the culinary lab, managed by the culinary department.Â
AV Control System (Crestron)
The audio and projector settings, document cameras, and cameras where installed are controlled by a Crestron touch panel on or near the instructor's desk. If you are experiencing issues with the audio, projection, or control panel, please get in touch with the Technology Service Center by calling (443) 518-4444 ext. three or using this link to create a service request. Please indicate if you would like immediate assistance, and a technician will respond to the classroom to assist you.Â
Displaying Video
The Home screen on the touch panel provides a list of sources available in the classroom. These sources will vary based on classroom type—a sample image below shows available sources and destinations.Â

Controlling Audio
The system volume can be adjusted by following the instructions below:
1. Press Room Speakers to play sound from a selected source.Â
2. Check the volume on the computer and the video presented. In the Crestron Touch Screen, press Volume Up to increase the volume and Volume Down to decrease the volume. To mute the speakers, press Volume Mute.Â
