Create New Service in Bookings

Step 1

Go to office.com and sign in with your HCC credentials. Select the app launcher button and then Bookings.

Step 2

Select the services button first and then select add new service.

Step 3

Enter the basic details of the service. Give the service a name and description. If the service is going to be a virtual meeting, toggle the add online meeting button. Otherwise, if it is in person enter the room location. Select how long you want the service to last and if you need a buffer time. Select how many attendees you want. Finally, choose if you want to give customers the ability to change the appointment if a staff member creates one on the customer's behalf.

Step 4

Select the availability options next. The service will have the default online scheduling and availability policy by default. Toggle the button to turn that off so you can customize the options. Next, select the time increments you want to use, the minimum lead time, and maximum lead time. Finally, select which availability option you want to use from the drop down.

Step 5

Select the assign staff option next. Here, check which staff members you want assigned to this service.

Step 6

Next, select custom fields. Choose which customer information options the customer is required to fill out and which are optional. If you want to add a custom field, select the custom field button to create your own question.

Step 7

Lastly, select the reminders and notifications option. Here, choose how you want notifications send to both the customer and staff member assigned. Add addtional information in the confirmation if needed, and create additional reminders and confirmations using the add an email reminder. Once finished, select the save changes to create your new service.
