Adobe provides employees with a license to allow them to use Adobe CC at home to allow them to use the product as they would on campus.

Students in select courses also get Adobe for the 2020FA semester

Below are the steps to request and access Adobe Creative Cloud through Howard Community College

Adobe for Home Access Process

Place a ticket in with the Technology Service Center to get access to Adobe for Home

You can contact the Technology Service Center at x4444 or by placing a request through the Technology Service Center Portal, https://www.howardcc.edu/services-support/technology-service-center/

An Adobe account administrator will add your account

  1. Go to Adobe.com and select Sign In in the upper right corner of the page. 
  2. Enter in your email address as the username, you don't need to enter your password at this page
    1. If it asks for Adobe ID or Enterprise ID, click on Enterprise ID to use your HCC credentials to login
  3. Sign in with your Howard Community College Credentials (Ex: jdoe1234)
  4. Once you login it will let you know that you've joined
  5. Click "Launch Adobe.com" or open https://www.adobe.com in your web browser
    It should open a page with the ability to download things on the left side
  6. Scroll down to the application called "Creative Cloud" near the bottom
    Click "Download"
  7. It will automatically download the "Creative Cloud" installer
  8. Open the installer using the instructions on the webpage from the above step.It may take a bit while the installer is downloaded based on the speed of your Internet connection
  9. Once it is done the Creative Cloud application will launch
  10. Sign in with your HCC Email address again

    1. If it asks for Adobe ID or Enterprise ID, click on Enterprise ID to use your HCC credentials to login
    2. It will ask you to sign in with your Howard Community College credentials (Ex:  jdoe1234)
  11. Select the "Apps" tab
  12. Scroll down to the program you want to install and click the "Install" button next to it
  13. It will begin downloading the program and installing it
