Fixing laptop wireless to support dual band

1.First, press the Windows key and type control panel.Now, from the control panel  select the ‘Network and Internet". Click on Network and Sharing center. 



2. Click on Change adapter settings.




3.In this list of the devices  search for the ‘Wireless adapter’. Now, select it and then right-click on it


    

4.From the popup options menu, right click and  select the ‘Properties’ option



5. Now click on Configure 


.



6.Now from ‘Wireless adapter Properties’, find the tab ‘Advanced’. 



7. Now, in the ‘Property’ heading, search for the Wireless Mode or Preferred band property like below and select it. From the drop-down list, under the ‘Value’ heading, choose an option that says 'Dual Band' as shown on picture below. Press a button ‘OK’.



8. Click OK

9. Check for your wireless connection again! It may take a minute or two to pop up.
