Outlook 365 for Windows Setup

(question)  Should you have any questions or concerns with the instructions, please notify the Technology Service Center for assistance. 

Step 1

Open Outlook on your laptop/desktop by searching for "Outlook".

Step 2

Enter in your @howardcc.edu email address and click "Connect".

Step 3

A Windows Security pop-up window will appear.

For the username, enter your HCC login ID and then the @howardcc.edu. For example, if your name is John Smith and your HCC login ID is jsmith1234, then enter jsmith1234@howardcc.edu in the username field.

For the password, use the password that you set in password services.

Select the "Remember my credentials" checkbox and then click OK.

Step 4

Uncheck the "Set up Outlook Mobile on my phone, too" option and then click "Done".

Step 5

Outlook will open and a new pop-up window will appear. Select the "Sign in" button.

Step 6

Where it asks you to sign in enter your HCC login ID and then the @howardcc.edu. For example, if your name is John Smith and your HCC login ID is jsmith1234, then enter jsmith1234@howardcc.edu in the username field. Select "Next".

Step 7

Enter your password that you set in password services. Select "Sign in".

Step 8

Select the "No, sign in to this app only" option.

Step 9

Outlook should now be setup on your computer.
